GUJARAT

  • Gujarat ranks first in all of India in groundnut production. Peanut is the most cultivated crop in Saurashtra district of Gujarat.
  • In Gujarat, groundnut is grown in an area of ​​about 20 lakh hectares. The annual production of groundnut in Gujarat is about 26 lakh tonnes. In the state of Gujarat, groundnut is mainly grown in Junagadh, Amreli, Rajkot, Bhavnagar, Sabarkantha. "Saurashtra" is the heart of Gujarat and India for groundnut production.


    ANDHRA PRADESH
